Jindabyne Trout
Steve Williamson is one of the Snowy Mountains most well respected fishing guides, operating out of the thriving township of Jindabyne. Steve specializes in down-rigging for Trout in Lake Jindabyne and shows Ed Vander Kruk this most effective method for catching these sought after fish.
Steve uses a Scotty Downrigger to get his lure of choice, Tassie Devils, down to the right depth.
This correct depth is where the fish are holding and changes from day to day, hour by hour.
The only way to find where the fish are holding is through the use of a good sounder.
Steve takes us through the basics of finding fish on his Lowrance sounder, and how to effectively use the downrigger to get his lures to the strike zone.

Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge caters not only to anglers; the Bawinanga Aboriginal Corporation offers lodge guests a wide range of eco tours. Peta is taken bush with local guides from the Bawinanga community, to try out some bush tucker, and experience first hand the land through the eyes of the people that live there.

Tasmanian Fly Fishing
Tasmania is well known for the quality of its trout fishery, but these wild trout have the reputation of being among the hardest of all to catch.
Peter Morse joins local guide Neil Grose on the highland lakes to flyfish for these elusive trout.
Tasmania is an environment that constantly changes, different weather conditions and water levels can turn good fishing into great, great fishing into spectacular, so its important to fish with a local guide who knows how to match conditions to locations and, of course, trout! With the changing conditions, comes changing fishing opportunities often in the same day: from drift fishing in boats, to sight fishing the lake edges.
Peter also takes the opportunity to try out some of the new range of rods and reels from Redington, excellent quality fly gear at affordable prices.
