Breathtaking beauty, diverse flora and fauna and the nations highest mountains await anglers to the XIXth Fips Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships in Australia's Snowy Mountains.

The Snowy Mountains were chosen to host this prestigious event as it offers anglers a wide variety of fishing opportunities, from the vast and numerous lakes of the district, to the fast fllowing snow fed rivers and streams, all abounding with trout.

Teams from 20 countries gathered to vie for the championship honours, whilst enjoying the beauty and hosspitality of the area and its particular style of trout fishing. The championships bring together people from all walks of life throughout the world, all with a common interest and goal: to become the world's fly fishing champion!

Follow various teams and competitors throughout the event, from the competition festivities, the informal practice sessions prior to the competition and the competition itself held on Lakes Jindabyne and Eucumbene and the mighty Murrumbidgee River.
