North Australian
FISH FINDER
2005-06 (Sixth Edition)
While some fishing media thumb their noses at you when it comes to providing serious fishing information, North Australian Fish Finder tells you where the fish are, in some cases down to the last 5m with GPS waypoints of important wrecks and reefs.

North Australian Fish Finder opens up the remote north's estuaries, rivers and offshore to everyone.

The new 304-page North Australian Fish Finder, released in May 2005, covers half the Australian coast, with chart extracts, aerial photos and maps of the best fishing areas from Moreton Bay, Queensland, across Cape York and the Gulf of Carpentaria, over the Northern Territory, WA's awesome Kimberley and Pilbara and down to Geraldton.

Australia's Barra Bible now has satellite imagery that provides unprecedented detailed coverage of the coast, particularly along the coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria (including Karumba, Borrooloola), much of the Great Barrier Reef and the Kimberley. You see more detail of the small estuaries from WA's Exmouth to Eighty-Mile Beach than you have ever seen before.

New spots covered include Moreton Bay, Great Sandy Strait, Fraser Island, Bundaberg and 1770. There are several new satellite and aerial images of impoundments, some taken during drought so you can see the bottom contours.

There is improved coverage of the Gladstone and Rockhampton region. There's also Mackay, St Helens and nearby estuaries, Proserpine, Burdekin, Hinchinbrook, Cairns, Jackey Jackey, Karumba, Normanton and Burketown, Borroloola (McArthur River), Roper River, Kakadu rivers, Darwin and Bynoe Harbours, the Victoria River, the Ord River, Kimberley rivers, Broome, the Pilbara coast, Exmouth Gulf, Ningaloo, Quobba coast, Shark Bay, Kalbarri and Geraldton.

GPS waypoints are supplied for many wrecks, reefs and many river rockbars.

The book is printed in gloss colour, with photography and articles, compiled and edited by Darwin-based fishing publisher Matt Flynn (fishing columnist for the Sunday Territorian newspaper in Darwin) and selected northern field editors such as Rick Huckstepp, Col Roberts and John Mondora.

The book includes a new Barra Bible pictorial guide that illustrates and describes the best barramundi techniques in the simplest terms. There are cast-netting and crab-tying illustrations.
