Page 160-161: The creek dubbed "First Creek" is Scott Creek. Also, the road marked "Stuart Highway" is the Arnhem Highway.
Page 167: The GPS
co-ordinate for the Sampan Creek entrance to the channel to
Tommycut (printed as 12 22.741S 131 42.339E on page 167) is
actually the co-ordinate for the Tommycut Creek entrance to the
cutting. The correct Sampan entrance co-ordinate is approx 12
24.570S 131 43.476E. Please note that the entrance to the cutting
is just a small gap in the trees 1.2km before the S-bends and it
is quite easy to miss.
While Shady Camp is flooded many people use the narrow cutting
from Sampan Creek to get to Tommycut Creek. This is a fairly
narrow channel and boaters tend to fly through here around the
many tight corners, so take care. Use this channel only in
flooding and at high tide.
Page 261: Spot 7 on Bakers Creek can now only be accessed by sea. The landowner no longer allows public access by road. He said growing numbers of people were leaving litter in the area.
